The Conti-Edger cuts with a blade, that is exactly structured as the blades of all ice-resurfacing machines itself.

That enables not only a perfect and smooth cut, but also guarantees the operator and all visitors of the ice rink, the maximum of safety while performing the edging process.

The Conti-Edger Blade is just cutting by the forward movement of the ice-resurfacing-machine;
    there is no rotary speed that could get dangerous by projecting any objects over the ice-surface.

For example, a loosend rivet of hockey-skates that is lying on or frozen into the ice-surface will just be picked up by the Conti-Edger, but could never be projected as a dangerous missile.
